Document or parcel — what's the difference?
Documents are tariffed as paper attachments up to 2 kg and usually undergo simplified processing. A parcel is commercial in nature: it requires a description of contents, value, and often supporting documents for customs. This affects both the price and the transit time. If a parcel has arrived via FedEx for a private individual, we can help — see FedEx parcel customs clearance.
The process of shipping a parcel to Ukraine
- Agreement on the route and weight with a manager.
- Packaging and preparation of the contents description with value.
- Pickup by a courier in the country of origin.
- Air freight and customs clearance upon entry to Ukraine.
- Delivery to the recipient's address and signature upon receipt.
Separate service for business
For commercial cargo from the US, EU, and China, there is a separate B2B direction with customs brokerage support: document processing, product classification, and tax calculation. This is appropriate when the shipment is addressed to a company rather than an individual.
Where to calculate the cost
Select the direction and specify the parcel weight in the calculator to get an estimated cost. Available directions and transit times by country are collected in the "Countries and Directions" section.
