What to keep in mind
- Some goods are prohibited or restricted for shipping — check before sending.
- Shipments above the statutory value limit require customs clearance with duties and taxes.
- Customs may require documents confirming the value of the contents.
Documents up to 2.00 kg clear without customs charges — they are not goods. Anything over 2 kg is treated as a parcel and may be taxed under destination country rules.
