What determines the cost
- Weight and dimensions of the envelope or package.
- Destination country and city—remote regions are priced higher.
- Tariff zone to which the country belongs.
- Carrier: DHL, FedEx, or UPS—rates and transit times vary.
- Urgency: Priority delivery options cost more.
- Additional services: Insurance, special packaging, and route-specific customs requirements.
Documents vs. Parcel—what's the difference for the rate
In courier networks, 'documents' are a separate category of shipment, typically weighing up to 2 kg: contracts, powers of attorney, diplomas, and certificates. Anything heavier or having a commercial nature is classified as a 'parcel' or 'cargo' (from 0.1 to 70 kg; heavier shipments — up to 300 kg and more — on request) and undergoes a different processing procedure.
This is why the same weight can have a different price: how the contents are classified matters.
How to check the price for your route
In the website calculator, select the destination, specify a weight up to 2 kg for documents, and the system will show the calculation based on current rates. If the route is non-standard or insurance is required, a manager will confirm the final cost after clarifying the details.
