How to send a diploma or certificate abroad

Educational documents are sent abroad for university admission, diploma recognition (nostrification), or proof of qualification to an employer. This is a standard shipment for express delivery, but originals require careful preparation and packaging.

Typical scenarios

  • Admission to a foreign university — submitting originals or certified copies.
  • Diploma recognition (nostrification), i.e., validating Ukrainian education in another country.
  • Qualification proof for employment abroad.
  • Submitting documents to professional associations and licensing bodies.

What to prepare before shipping

Often, an institution requires not the original itself, but a notarized copy or a document with an apostille or sworn translation. This is a separate procedure that should be clarified directly with the receiving institution before shipping — this will help you avoid re-sending.

  • Check with the receiving party: original, copy, or apostilled document.
  • Make a scan of all pages and the diploma supplement.
  • Pack in a rigid A4 envelope with cardboard backing.
  • Send the diploma supplement along with the diploma if required.

How long does delivery take?

Transit times are the same as for other documents and depend on the destination country. For admission campaigns with deadlines, we recommend allowing for extra time and tracking the shipment by AWB number.

We will ship your diploma, certificate, or school records to over 200 countries with tracking until delivery.
