SEMERO — Express Post Service

How it works

SEMERO — international delivery service for documents and business cargo. We help you book express carriers worldwide (DHL, FedEx, UPS), check delivery feasibility and, if needed, provide customs clearance services.

Important

We do not accept for carriage:

  • personal belongings sent as informal hand-overs (not declared as cargo/parcel)
  • food products
  • medicines
  • coins and collectibles without supporting documents
  • perfumery
  • counterfeit branded goods (replicas)

All shipments undergo customs control on export and import.

Why is it expensive?

We do not work with sea or road transport — air delivery only, to 220+ countries, as the fastest way to move cargo or documents between countries. Terms and pricing differ by destination. Prices on the site are general — regular customers and large volumes get special conditions depending on the route.

All delivery services include:

  • Door-to-door
  • AWB tracking
  • Customs clearance — if needed
  • Warehouse services in Mukachevo

For companies

  • We work under a contract
  • Delivery services
  • Customs brokerage support
  • Payment by bank transfer

For private customers

Documents and cargo follow different preparation paths

Preparing documents

For an envelope, provide full sender and consignee details in Latin characters, the postal code and a phone number with country code. Once the route is confirmed, the manager issues the AWB; you print it and hand the envelope to the courier or agreed drop-off point. Do not add goods without prior confirmation, as that changes the clearance procedure.

Preparing cargo

For boxes and commercial consignments, provide exact dimensions, weight, contents, value and intended use. The manager checks the invoice and packing list, determines the clearance requirements and only then confirms the carrier. After pickup you receive the AWB; on arrival the cargo clears customs and moves to final delivery.

Customs clearance for individuals

Gifts need a declared value too

Gifts or items the recipient did not buy themselves must also have a declared value — and that is exactly the value customs can verify during inspection. Do not understate or guess the amount: state the real value of the items in the declaration at the dispatch stage.

Example: a new iPhone from the US

If you are sent a new iPhone from the United States and the declaration states a value of EUR 150, customs may verify exactly that value during inspection. If the officer clarifies the real price, the duty and VAT are recalculated — so an honest, accurate declaration saves time and money from the start.

Purchases on eBay and other marketplaces

If the goods were bought on eBay or a similar marketplace, confirming the value requires showing the purchase listing itself and proof that the funds were charged — for example, a payment statement. Keep these documents until the shipment has cleared customs.

A separate note for companies

For companies, a goods value under EUR 150 does not guarantee automatic exemption from duty or VAT. Delivery terms, the intended use of the goods, possible additional permits and more all matter — the value may be adjusted to market level, with duty and VAT charged on the difference. That is why we check the shipment at the dispatch stage and tell you upfront which clearance procedure will apply — a prior consultation is always better than a returned shipment or storage fees at a customs warehouse.

Estimate indicative duty and VAT for DHL/FedEx parcels in the customs calculator.
