- Identification documents with shipping restrictions — conditions depend on the country and carrier.
- Shipments and attachments without proper customs clearance.
- Delivery to P.O. Boxes — courier services deliver to physical addresses and require a signature.
General prohibited categories
- Dangerous goods: chemicals, pressurized gases, flammable liquids, batteries outside of shipping rules.
- Weapons, ammunition, their parts, and imitations.
- Cash, unactivated bank cards, precious metals and stones.
- Perishable goods, plants, animals.
- Medicines without permits, narcotics.
- Counterfeit goods and items whose circulation is restricted by the destination country's laws.
Why the list is not universal
The list of restrictions depends simultaneously on the country of origin, the country of destination, and the carrier's internal rules. Therefore, even an item allowed in Ukraine may be prohibited on a specific route.
